When we think about toy train sets the electric model railroads are brought to mind most of the time. You can find large models that offer a backyard setting or even miniature styles that can be setup on a desk. Experienced model railroad enthusiasts most often recommend the “O scale model trains.” They look about the same size as the trains that you see during the holidays going around the Christmas tree.
